Mini First Aid offers a range of classes across the UK for all the family; parents, grandparents, carers and for children as young as three years old, training them in basic and life-saving first aid.
Mini First Aid trainer across Suffolk and mummy to toddler Esme. Having 10 years experience working in residential care, Naomi has faced many first aid scenarios. Naomi is passionate about sharing her first aid knowledge, giving parents and carers confidence in any emergency situation.
Supporting Naomi in Suffolk we have Zoe, Mum to two year old James. Having previously worked as a nurse and lifeguard, Zoe has first hand medical experience. She is extremly passionate about helping to teach and train others the skills surrounding First Aid.
My husband and I attended this morning with our little boy. We’ve both come away feeling confident that if we ever need to administer first aid (fingers crossed that we don’t), we’ll be able to handle whatever is thrown at us. Naomi was very friendly and very knowledgeable. It was great we were able to both go and take our little one too. Highly recommend to anyone!!
I thoroughly enjoyed the course, as a new first time grand parent I would highly recommend doing this very informative course. After getting to practice on the dummies....and Naomi! I now feel so much more confidant that I will know what to do should an emergency arise while my granddaughter is in my care. Thank you Naomi.
I cannot recommend Mini First Aid enough. Kate ran a private class for me and my 11 year old daughter in the comfort of our own home, which was perfect especially as my babies are due any day now. My daughter and I feel much more confident in knowing what to do in a range of emergency situations and I also got some extra twin tips from Kate as a fellow twin Mum! It's such an important life skill that every parent and carer should have so I would urge you to book a Mini First Aid course today.
I attended a class with Naomi and would highly recommend it. The information provided was all really useful and although I hope to never use it, I feel so much better knowing that I could if I had to. I was also really impressed that it covered first aid for all - babies, children and touched on adults, as it means that it won’t just apply while my little one is little! I was a little apprehensive as I had to bring my 3 week old daughter to the class and was worried that it might be an issue if she needed feeding or cried (she did both) but the friendly atmosphere meant that I needn’t have worried at all. My mum is planning on booking a class and I’ll be recommending it to everyone - you really don’t even need to be a parent or grandparent to benefit from this class and I think everyone should have some basic training like this.
There are a gazillion things I never seem to get around to doing (fixing the broken blind in our bedroom, getting some photos printed of ‘the baby’ who is almost two but still doesn’t exist on our walls, pinning down the coffee date I’ve been promising my neglected friend via WhatsApp for at least 6 months…) BUT this morning I finally got my arse in gear and ticked off something from my ‘Really Must Do’ list by attending a First Aid class designed specifically for parents, grandparents and carers of babies and young children. It took just two hours out of my morning and covered a whole host of stuff including what to do if a child is choking, how to deal with burns/breaks/bleeding and the basics of life-saving CPR for kids.
This was an informative first aid course in the comfort of our own home. It has given us the reassurance and confidence to deal with any first aid issues our babies may have. These sessions are ideal for groups of mums, toddler groups etc... it was nice doing it with people I knew in a comfortable setting! This was a fantastic course, I would highly recommend, Thank you!
The Mini First Aid Class (filmed for ITVBe) was a fantastic class, both Arg and I found it a really good and informative session
Fantastic private class. Informative and hands on practice is second to none. Would recommend to anyone with children for peace of mind and the confidence of what to do in those unthinkable situations. Thanks Naomi - you were brilliant!
The session was interactive and enjoyable, and the information was taught in a really simple and memorable way. We feel much more confident that if we needed to do any first aid then we have a much better knowledge of what to do, which could make all the difference in those first moments after an accident or illness occurring. Definitely recommend this first aid course to anyone with babies or young children.
We attended the Mini First Aid class when I was pregnant last year. Fast forward to now and my baby girl is 8months old and my training has just saved her life! My daughter began silently choking on a piece of toast and had started to turn purple, because of my training I remained as calm as can be in that situation and was able to get her in the correct position and give her some black blows and retrieve the nasty culprit. £20 I paid for that course, it was the best £20 I ever spent because my daughter's life is pricelss. I know for a fact before attending the course I would have just panicked and screamed, not knowing the best course of action. Thank you so much Mini First Aid, you saved my daughter's life and for that I'm eternally grateful.
"We are so glad we have done a Mini First Aid class. We enjoyed the class, found it really useful and feel so much more prepared in the build up to having our baby.”
It was a pleasure meeting Kate and Jacky from Mini First Aid and being taught what to do in case of an emergency. Learning CPR and what to do when a child is choking is invaluable. Obviously, I hope I never had to use the things I learned in today’s class, but horrible things happen and knowing these techniques can really make a huge difference. The class was fun and accessible given the seriousness of the topic. I would highly recommend everyone doing it.
